Hi #Mastodon and #fediverse toops, I’m looking for recommendations for a fairly cheap mp3 player that does Bluetooth audio and maybe also an audio jack?
I want to be able to listen to music and audio books entirely separate from the confines of my phone.

Only thing I can think of would be an old iPod Touch or thereabouts. One of the ones that runs older versions of iOS, and keep it offline.@[email protected] that was one of my first ideas, but I’m wondering about newer options too

@[email protected] i’ve been quite happy with my hiby daps! they appear to be sold out of their small, entry-level r2 ii right now (wouldn’t be surprised if a new iteration was in the works), but depending on budget they do have a few other offerings that aren’t quite entering the absurd audiophile budget territory. https://store.hiby.com/
