Hey, I just tuned in, and… WTF?! 2 nil?! What team is this?!
Monterrey looked like they were sleepwalking and for once we were clinical with the finishes!
We only have to win by 3. I hope they don’t let off the gas when we’re up 4-0 at the half.

Seriously, though, I’m not really sure what to hope for. A win, sure, but seems almost impossible. This team at the beginning of last year, during the CCL run? Sure! This team in the current run of form with injuries and with Monterrey reintegrating a few stars that didn’t even play in their last match?
It’s also not like we can hope for something to “build on” since it’ll be almost a month until the team plays again - no momentum to carry forward.
And we won’t see any young players, I’m betting.
So I guess I hope for “nobody else gets hurt”?
As much as a 3-0 win would be amazing, I’d honestly settle for “a good game”. It sucks we dug such a deep hole to have to overcome.
Welp, now we need 2 more.
