Roll yourself a blunt or joint, get your favorite munchie food ready, and then turn on this movie (Apple TV, Amazon Prime or the pirate). Even better if you got friends with you.

I have never in my entire life laughed so much and so hard. Never. I now totally understand why Cheech & Chong are considered such an important part of stoner culture and why they are credited with “inventing the genre”. Because they really did.

The movie itself is incredibly clever. It’s jam-packed with jokes, like a Simpsons episode during the “Golden Years”. There are at least 2 jokes going on simultaneously at all times, and the end of every joke is the beginning of a new one. And of course, when stoned, all of those jokes are even funnier. Especially if you know what’s coming (“What do you guys want?”).

Friday, How High, The Big Lebowski, 9 to 5, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle - they were all great when I was watching them high. But C&C’s Up In Smoke topped it all.

Dude, Stacy Keach is the Sarge that’s running the bust. One of his buddies is actor Rick Beckner, who looks kinda like Andy Samberg, who has started alongside Stacy Keach on cop show, Brooklyn 99.

    This movie’s going great!

Oh snap dude! Didn’t realize it was Stacey Keach in that B99 episode! Awesome!

The Vietnam vet “Strawberry” is Tom Skerrit by the way!
