    Investigators also believe she was killed on May 4 — the same day she made a frantic 911 call in which a man and a woman can be heard screaming at one another with the call ending with a woman’s voice saying “Why.”

    Of course the police never follow this up - why would they?

    They are busy.

    Frantic phone calls that end with screaming are just not a priority in many parts of America, which is absolutely sad.

      This is exactly why people who say “Until you need a cop” are full of shit. That woman needed them. Lots of people make desperate calls like this expecting help, any kind of help, and it either goes nowhere or the response is far too late.
