Yeah I got so many hate comments any time I would speak out towards the protests. Even in communities I was deeply ingrained in and people I have interacted with over years on the site. Shame that a website can cause people to become so divided.
Ok so, the reddit protests in question are not older than GPT. Some have even theorized the 3rd party app /API killing off was DUE TO GPT
training resources eating up reddit bandwidth (im very much trivializing that).

I’ve got 7 custom AI chat bots on my normal desktop PC that beg to differ with your outdated opinions. I dont even do this professionally and i’ve got all the resources to AI bot spam if I so chose to. Which I think would be a significant waste of my time (not to mention I have no aspirations that would be furthered by this)
