I haven’t been out to LaVista and Cheshire Bridge since the apartment building burned, but it sounds like a complete mess. It’s been 1.5 months and there’s still no clear timeline for reopening. I wonder if bikes and pedestrians can squeeze by.

@DecaturNature @dekalbnews Between that road being closed and another part of Cheshire Bridge being closed, it’s a disaster for this area. Pedestrians and bicycles can get by the apartment area, but I’m not sure about the bridge.
