Hi! European and new user here! I just read the origin story of Lemmy and there was a mentioning op “Pro US” and to be really honest I didn’t understand.
Instead of doing a google i thought it might be interesting to see what you think he would mean by that! :)
Our national parks are just absolutely gorgeous. A lot of spots are free, and if not there’s a yearly pass that works at all of the paid parks in the country! A lot of places for extended stays you just need a permit which is like <$10 for a week of backpacking. I know some campsites where its totally free!
The variety of landscapes, climates, and cultures is just crazy. I grew up in a desert. now I live in a forest. I’ve been to swamps, rainforests, mountain ranges. I’ve made an igloo.
Im very pro america in that the physical existing landmass of the country is just awesome. Not so pro what we’re doing with it.
