Currently downvotes are disabled here because I’m a big softie. But I have found myself missing them every now and again…

Should we enable downvotes on this instance? Why or why not?

      What I said. It’s not bad for people to see what happens here. It’s good. No cans of beans. So far. If cans of beans come through, maybe nobody will upvote them. Maybe everyone will. I haven’t upvoted any cans of beans. Maybe you aren’t aware of the can of beans thing? It really helps if you are.

        Sorry, I didn’t think your reply made any sense re: what I said. I was just reminding OP that everyone on every instance can comment (vote.) Just in case they assumed only local users could see or weigh in. The title of the post doesn’t say (Users of lib.lgbt:)

        If I was voting I would say no to downvotes.

          Well that makes sense. I could have asked you what with a single line. I wasn’t clear on what you were talking about. Yeah, they can comment, upvote, blah blah blah. We agree with each other. My point was that there are no outsiders until they are made so, with defederation, which we can do pretty quickly. So, don’t worry about the outsiders. They aren’t outsiders. If they become outsiders, we shall make them so. By vote, apparently.
