A restaurant in California has been ordered to pay $140,000 in back wages and damages to employees after it hired a priest to extract workers’ confessions, in what federal investigators are calling “the most shameless” acts of corruption an employer has taken against its staff.

    So he didn’t pay the workers all their wages but paid someone to see if the workers were stealing. $5,000 penalty seems small.

    Im catholic. If that happened to me I would be driven to sin in anger. I’m so angry that I have to confess just because of the bad thoughts I’m having. I’m so angry.

    That is so blasphemous that I literally think that defacing a famous church would be less sinful. I’m so unbelievably incredibly angry.

    I hope they burn in hell, which is unjust for me to think. I literally am going to have to talk to my priest about this for a long enough time to annoy him.
