This is why I liked Ray of Enfeeblement in 3.5. No save, and it’s a level 1 spell so I can just keep casting it. But maybe you think that since you’re a wizard, you don’t need to care about your strength score? Wrong! Two casts will bring most wizards down to 1 strength. “A medium or heavy load counts as medium or heavy armor for the purpose of abilities or skills that are restricted by armor.” And what’s a heavy load for someone with 1 strength? 7 pounds. Unless you’re already naked, enjoy your 40% arcane spell failure chance.
Too bad I can only theorycraft and never get to play…
Two level 3 slots and action surge all for fairly easy dex saves? I hope that was worth it
