Just rescued a very young stray kitten
The sun is almost up again but we finally managed to catch the <1 month kitten that was lost and meowing under cars in our neighborhood.
Tomorrow I’ll take her to the vet and contact a local association to find her a good home. Feels good.
Once I get some sleep and she’s been to the vet I might be able to share some pictures. So far this is my fourth rescue.
There’s another older (6 months or so) cat in the neighborhood but she’s far too clever to go into the cage / trap although we’ve been trying for several days. If anyone has any tips, they’re dearly appreciated.

Rescue organisations normally know best, since they do handle a lot of cases like these on a daily basis. <1 month is really young, poor thing. Since the, can’t eat real food yet, some milk and a cozy blanket will do good. Or wven one of those hoodies with big front pockets. Definitely keep the fur tidy, that is usually the best indication (though I am not even sure on this low are to be honest). Thank you for helping it out. At this age it very much is helpless, on its own yet. The 6 months old is probably fine, as long as it’s fur is shimmering. Maybe put out some wet food with stuff helping with worms for now.
