The trailer sold me so much I went to purchase a Netflix sub which is something I don’t do because I think Netflix sucks, but I wanted to support what I believed was to be great. And it really is great. I wish Netflix enabled purchase per-item so I could just buy what I want to clearly signal to them what to invest into. Finally a good movie!

I LOVED it. Mixing some tension with some comedy, and some brilliantly aware writing. Little glimmers of Jordan Peele, with some of the humor of Black Dynamite. Great movie to giggle at this weekend.

Just watched it! It was great. Jamie Foxx really lights up whatever scene he’s in, and the rest of the cast delivered as well. Loved the way it looked too. Stylish and exciting. I’m a fan.

Amazing would definitely not be the word I’d use for this movie, average fits it better. It’s not terrible but it’s far from great either.

I liked the acting in some scenes, but the rest is meh you won’t see anything you haven’t already seen somewhere else.
The story is pretty basic, I had to watch the movie in three parts over two days, this how not interesting the story is …
I mean there is no suspense they sold the plot in the title already.

Otherwise they could manage a enjoyable film, they had good actors and the budget but Netflix has to do its thing, so creativity is not part of the plan. For me it is a 5/10, only because of the actor’s effort otherwise it would be 3.5.
