My school had previously had a relatively bad Wi-Fi restrictor but then they switched to Sophos, and it’s unfortunately really good at blocking everything.

Here are the things we’ve tried so far: • Using a separate browser (Chromium, OperaGX etc). • Using a proxy/vpn extension (Using Chromium or Opera, you can’t add extensions on the built in Chrome, however it’s unblocked on Chromium. • Using a VPN on a computer that’s not restricted by the school (I use Linux if that helps). • Using a sites.google.com proxy, this works but it’s incredibly slow and downloading doesn’t work which we kind of need. Using HistoricalAnime, which again works, but downloads don’t.

I don’t mind if it’s not a system wide proxy, just an extension, but I have my own computer, so I can use that instead if there’s a solution.

Is it possible for me to make some sort of hotspot with my computer that everyone can join? I don’t really mind if it’s laggy. Please im keep in mind that I am a relatively new beginner.

Using the Linux just (in theory), would there be a way to unblock phones too?
