Hey!

This is a very quick and straightforward question

I’ve heard multiple times something along the lines of: I am at a cafe, and since I don’t trust the public wifi, I would connect to my vpn at home and would just use it as exit node so that nobody can see my traffic

How does that work?

Like aren’t you still connected to the public wifi? Even if the traffic comes from your home computer, can’t they still see your traffic? I don’t understand this

If somebody could clear this up that’d be great!
