I’m trying to develop my own personal VPN network that only me and a few friends will have access to. Reason is to have full control over the logs instead of relying on a commercial VPN.

ISP can see that a data is routed through a Proxy, as well as the exact proxy address. It kills the whole purpose if the ISP retain the IP address of the proxy in their logs, since I am most likely the only person using that proxy IP.

Hypothetically an adversary is trying to find the original IP of someone through their ISP. But know it is not a commercial proxy IP. Would they be able to just ask a bunch of ISP who’s IP connected to the proxy IP at a particular date?
