Anyone heard of the data privacy company, Ketch? They’re a startup from 2022.

Their website states that privacy controls and practices happen “behind the scenes” using AI tools. From what I understand, if implemented on a site, you won’t get a pop up asking for explicit consent. They get implicit consent based off users’ actions on the site. The user has access to granular controls to manage their privacy preferences if they go into their account settings. It seems hella shady to me.

Also looking at who invested in this company that seemingly appeared out of nowhere is dodgy too.
