Would it be good practice to use my own node as the first hop?
I’m planning on setting up an OpenBSD machine to use as a tor exit node. I have a block of 4 public IPv4 addresses so I think I can avoid troubles (ie: sites not wanting to load since they black list exit nodes) when using my main IP (for everything else at home).
Should this be frowned upon or since I am in full control of my node, it’s not necessarily a bad idea?
Edit: I also use a few applications that use the Tor network natively (a few crypto apps). If this idea isn’t in fact a bad idea, I’d like to set those up to use my node as well. Kind of my main reason why I’d like to use my own node.
