I am trying to install Tor via Ubuntu software center. The download completes successfully but when I try to start it up I get a 402 error.

Someone posted instructions in the software center for fixing this but they are unclear. Has anyone had any experience with this who can give me clear and simple instructions to get it running? Alternatively is there another way to install it on my computer?
