I was recently doing my required annual “security” training, and in there it said everything I create is owned by the company. I guess this means if I ever go overemployed, that’s how they can sue me?

How is that even enforceable? What if I decided to freelance? Does this mean I can’t freelance? That’s some draconian b.s. right there.

BTW, my field of work is software development.
