In a few years, I’m going to Sobo the AT, beginning in Maine in July. I’m interested in hammock camping primarily to make this trip just a little more comfortable. If I roll with a 40 underquilt and a 40 overquilt and just accept there will be nights that I sleep in long pants and a puffy jacket, is that going to be sufficient to get me through Maine and New Hampshire? Or should I buy heavier quilts and plan on switching out? Thanks in advance for the advice!
