Our redbubble account was finally approved, which means we are now selling stickers, pins, magnets, even coasters lol. Tote bags, t-shirts… I mean, why stop at just stickers?

But that’s not all, we teamed up with artist Tamaryn (https://www.artstation.com/tamaryn) who graciously offered some of her own art for our store, to help fundraise. I think her art looks dope.

We ended up settling for Redbubble due to two considerations: price and ease of access. They ship worldwide, and they are one of the cheapest POD (print on demand) service for the consumer. At this time we don’t have the capabilities of offering all this stuff ourselves.

Of course, we encourage you to make your own stickers and pins if that’s cheaper for you. It’s shipping they get you on. We barely make any money on any sale, our main fundraising avenues are still direct donations, the store is just a way to get some merch (eyeing some of that stuff myself personally).

Anyway, we’re pretty stoked about this new store and we’re hoping the art can help make sales on the broader site to fund the revolution with liberal money lol

    Also idk where to post this but new design for the store that I made

    (it’s the communist manifesto and I think it goes hard but I’m biased)

    gives me a creative outlet and I think if people want to donate their designs to prolewiki to be used on the redbubble, that can be dope. Then we can sell to people other than communists and get some revenue. As a reminder nobody makes any profit off this store, all proceeds go to ProleWiki’s bank account.

        Feel free to print stickers yourself with our logo! We make like 40 cents on a sale, and yeah they get you on shipping depending where it’s going to, highway robbery in some places lol. In my case shipping was more than reasonable, but don’t feel bad if you print your own lol

        We might also open a spreadshirt later on which I think is better in terms of currencies and shipping costs, although the base items are pricier.

          I’ll wait for the spreadshirt then, their shipping over here is usually much cheaper. Redbubble is usually a bit mean on the global south, but the price of the stickers themselves are quite good. If I could get like 15 other people interested it could still be worth it. I’m also really interested in those “cheaper” bulk stickers that were mentioned a while back, they make for great wall decorations.

          I might make some makeshift ones until then. It’s always good to learn how to print out some propaganda.

            Edit: it’s just that on ali the roll is like 100 stickers but at least shipping from China is cheap. Spreadshirt might not be coming for a week or two because I’m a bit burned out from setting up the redbubble lol, I’ll take a break before I look at the spreadshirt

              Oh that’d be lovely. If I do that and somebody else buys it too, I’ll make sure the profit goes to PW. No hurry on the spreadshirt storefront though, this is more of a cute thing compared to all the great work at ProleWiki.

                Yeah, we’re not counting on these stickers and other merch being like a major source of donations. Especially not with those margins compared to the base price lol. But people wanted stickers so we tried to find a solution. Though I like our partnered artist’s art and got an acrylic block out of it for myself, it looks dope af. Hopefully that can drive some sales outside of our usual circle.

          Yeah, redbubble really hates sub-Chihuahuan America for some reason. They sometimes even indiscriminately ban small artists from here. It’s not even that big of a trip here since it’s not by land, and we don’t even have an active warzone near us or anything.
