I didn’t read The Little Trashmaid for a long while because I was worried it would be too sad (as the title implies, it’s about a mermaid living in a polluted ocean). While it is a little sad, it’s also very charming and wholesome, plus funny enough to overall be a more cheerful than depressing series. I recommend it!
