Is it just me, or do these multi-night events end up watering down the card? WM40 was fairly lackluster aside from the top of the card. Now we’re going to do it with SummerSlam? Maybe HHH will keep each night’s card small, like 4 matches, and that would avoid the fluff.
I’m not a big fan of em. I get it if they wanna do a 2 night WM, biggest show of the year, fine whatever. Any other show? Just no lol.
It’s been an obsession for WWE to try and make SummerSlam somewhat of an equivalent to Mania for several years now. I don’t think it can or ever will be though, and most fans appear to agree, but TKO wants that money, money, money.
I dislike Mania being 2 nights as well, not everybody needs a match at Mania now that most talents aren’t getting a cut of the gate if they work the event. I do get it’s WrestleMania and most talents have dreamed of being on it, but to me, it feels like a lot of filler sometimes.
