I’m nearing the end of the wheel of time, first book that Sanderson worked on.

The aiel seem to only feature women punishing each other through penance.

The aes sedai seem to only feature women punishing each other through penance.

Did Jordan have a kink for this kinda thing? It’s just non stop spankings.

There’s a surprising amount of that, not to mention… not sure whether to go into it but…

    Seanchan stuff

Those collars that can control people who channel are also used in a very kinky way.

That said, there’s also a few times when there’s the same stuff on men by women, and, I think, on women by men. But since the Aiel wise ones and Aes Sedai alike are societies of women, well, there’s a lot of that going on.

I donno, I honestly have very little idea of how male aiel behave.

there’s like two male aiel characters besides Rand and they have the exact same personality: horny stoic clan chiefs.

you’d think the Shaido would have more characters given the rejection of Rand would need some other public figure but it’s just aie sedai wise ones part 3.

From this and other instances I think it’s pretty clear that he was into spanking and femdom.

And long drawn out stories that don’t go anywhere.

Like that time I lost my wife? She went off to some town and I just pranced around the countryside for 3 fucking books, which was the style at the time.

Generally speaking, almost every character in the Wheel of Time series views everybody else as a bunch of children. Considering how prevalent corporal punishment on children would have been in Robert Jordan’s life I’m not surprised.

My biggest frustration with it is that if the characters learned proper communication skills in book 1 most of the issues throughout the series could have just been avoided.

Everybody just wants everybody else to do what they say with no explanations and gets mad when they don’t.
