Despite the closure of Piranha Bytes, THQ Nordic retains the rights to the Gothic, Risen, and Elex intellectual properties so the series are not dead I think and there is new studio from Piranha Bytes developers Pithead Studio

How is that fortunate though?
THQ Nordic, the company which became Embracer, bought Piranha Bytes, shuttered the studio when they fucked up, and is now using their IP for a remake?
