Vicario vs Raya.

I’m worried about Vic’s lack of long-ball capability. Long-balls will be the lock pick of 23/24.

Agree? Disagree? Thoughts?

All fair, and Ange doesn’t need a long ball keeper this season. Maybe he’ll be of a different mind when he sees what City, Arsenal etc do this term? I do hope Vic does well.

The anxiety stems from the fact that a lot of players Levy gets in have a hard dependency on them being able to improve their game and TOO OFTEN that hope is in vain. The ongoing narrative at Spurs is shambolic recruitment. But that’s perhaps as much to do with shambolic recruitment of managers…

Those are still early days. It was first real test of this defensive line-up, they were very shaky under pressure during first half but later on grew into it despite loosing Romeo. First 15 min the midfield wasn’t really sure how to cover spaces for defenders very often. It’s still a rough, unpolished product.

BTW this stat misses the fact that Vicario makes way better facial expressions that Raya, it’s pure gold.
