I’ve come very close to being defrauded by people pretending to be from Amazon, banks, phone/internet/TV providers, and even people pretending that I have an internet virus. They’re very persuasive and can communicate with emails and phony corporate logos while on the phone with you. They can “help” you install apps and go further into your computer’s workings than you ever have. They always seem to be in a hurry and need personal information and card and account numbers before they can complete their action.
