So there are about 1.4 thousand of you still to make the move! We plan on shutting down the 1.0 account in about a week, but might do it sooner, join the new group TODAY…!
@KamalaHarrisWin Why did you decided to switch to mastodon? What was wrong with friendica groups?
@anubis2814 Lack of moderation control on replies was the biggest issue.
@KamalaHarrisWin They just weren’t available? If you can, please list the differences i do some work for friendica on occasion and i was excited more people were using the groups feature, and saddens me that it’s not up to snuff. Friendica relies on a different style of moderation than activitypub, but most of your peeps are on mastodon so it makes sense it wouldn’t work as well. Ill make up a new feature request if you can state the features you prefer. It will take 6 months to implement at least but at least the next person who tries it won’t have the same issue.
