I won’t pretend that I actually follow the lore, but this came up in alot of the material I read and was so shrouded in mystery. But I guess maybe that was also the allure of it all.

There are multiple theories but broadly it’s either a huge show/ritual or something so horrifying and/or secretive that people can’t talk about it.

Back when I was still reading a lot of stuff, the consensus was that specifying it would essentially ruin it.
