    Another commenter stated that only three people are considered to have died while in space.

    It’s generally estimated that 100 billion people pls dont ask 4 sauce have lived and died in the entire history of humanity, thus far.

    3/10^11 = 3-11 or about 0.000000003% of humanity; in other words, specifically, ~99.999999997% of human deaths have occurred on Earth.

    I’ll add that what’s considered space is rather arbitrary, so the percentage will depend on the convention used.
