More on- “Things Republican White Men Are Allowed To Do Without Pushback”

Seriously, Biden flubs once and that’s how the whole “he’s too old” starts. Kamala doesn’t have a perfect answer once, she’s suddenly dumb and not qualified.

Trump stands awkwardly on stage for 30 minutes…and Republicans are just…cool with it?

Because it’s never about the competency. It’s about my team Vs your team. It has been like this throughout my living memory, but shit like this just drives home how much of a problem it really is.

And fascism. Don’t forget fascism. They vote for him because that is what they want and that is what he delivers.

Seriously, Biden flubs once and that’s how the whole “he’s too old” starts.

It really wasn’t the one time. His handlers had been stage managing his public appearances so he wouldn’t wander off, and he’s said a litany of very clearly odd things in public. That one time just happened to occur on live national TV and couldn’t be spun like the others.

The Daily Show’s done some great segments on Biden’s cognitive decline over the years. They’re on Youtube.

So then if those are standards we’re holding for Biden, why not Trump? Isn’t he constantly doing off things in public AND behind closed doors?

So when a Black person doesn’t act in the way his supporters expect them to, they retaliate? Is that why we’re seeing all this Kamala hate? Because she’s not strutting around using AAVE with a clock around her neck?

Ugh, it’s just so infuriating. This is why when people complain about DEI and PoC taking jobs, it’s like-- Even when we get the job, are more than qualified, exemplary at the job, AND personable on top of it-- people will see all of that as a detriment, not a boon.

Yes, that is exactly what Republicans do, if you’d take notice. It’s not about logical points, but literally SLANDERING the “enemy”, which is always a fellow citizen.

They ARE deplorable, dishonest actors, and the rest of the world NEEDS to stop treating these literally evil people as if they’re merely misguided and simply haven’t heard the right truth spoken to them… No, they’re brainwashed morons who have become dangerous.

I checked out the livestream vod because I was confused what they meant by him “standing there for 30 minutes” but yup. He wasn’t like awkwardly zoned out or anything, there was music and quite a few people on stage doing a bit of shuffling around… but like he wasn’t speaking to anyone, he wasn’t on his phone, they were all just kind of watching the crowd.

But like that’s what makes it weird. Like even if I wanted to watch the crowd leave, surely I’d do it while speaking to the people next to me?

(He did start talking to supporters after, but there was a good 20 minute window where he wasn’t)

You all can downvote me if you want, I know this is just intended as a Trump-hate thread, and I hate him as much as anyone I know. But, after watching the video, here’s what I saw.

He was very uncomfortable with that women’s daughter on the left. Moved her away, then moved away from her, then shook everyone’s hand except hers.

In all seriousness though, no one seemed to “pour out” and he wasn’t frozen (he kept talking periodically on the mic and taking selfies/shaking hands). He also mentioned that they breached security in order to deal with the medical emergency. I’m guessing that with his heightened security protocols, he wasn’t able to leave until they’d reestablished the outdoor perimeter. Very possible his motorcade also needed to move to allow for the ambulances, so those had to be brought back into position and then a security sweep had to be done again.

It appears that it’s being explained to him on the left side of the stage at one point by secret service that he’ll either need to rush out before the people that needed medical attention, or they’ll need to breach security and he’ll need to wait, and he clearly tells them to open it up and he’ll wait. Probably could have been less awkward about the whole thing, but that seems to explain the last 45min of this thing.

Yeah, I scrubbed through it and he didn’t just stand there for 30 minutes. I saw him walk around, shake hands, lift the mic up and seemed more like he was just wasting time than anything. I’m with you, I’m not a trump supporter, but if we want to be taken seriously than we need to be honest. And honestly trump does enough bizzar and unhinged things that we don’t have to make any more up. It just takes away out credibility.

Is this legit? Like did he really stand there for 30 minutes silently? That’s like, they need to put this man in a home type of behavior.

I think they knew what he means for them to do on January 5th. Seems too oddly specific a date otherwise. He’s basically signaling them to disrupt the certification again if he’s losing.

We’re seeing the live breakdown of a narcissistic personality on the biggest stage unable to cope with the failure and (possibly more importantly for him) dislike he is facing.

*Also, was he personally hawking the Trump™ Combat Knives there, or was that overlayed by the station?

The “Trump was right about everything” sign has me confused. Are they talking about the present tense in the past tense?

I thought it was dementia but you may have changed my mind. What if we meet in the middle and say it is both soiled pants and dementia?

    Definitely not.

But, luckily for him, the 99% of people that vote Democrat and Republican evidenced this year that a functioning brain is no longer a requirement for their presidential vote.

Biden dropped out over his age due to massive amounts of pressure from within the Democratic party. Not really a both sides issue here
