Context:

  • PC, Switch, and PlayStation/Xbox (in that order) tend to get updates, new features, fixes, etc. faster than other platforms.
  • Meanwhile, the Android/iOS ports seem to have a rather low priority. Major updates tend to come relatively late, and even multiplayer (introduced in 2018) is still not officially supported on mobile.
  • On the other hand, the PlayStation Vita version was entirely abandoned after only a few months. The addition of multiplayer had necessitated a change of game engine, and the new engine that was chosen did not support the Vita. The latest Vita build is equivalent to a PC build from 2017, meaning it lacks all subsequent new content and QOL improvements, as well as still containing game-breaking bugs.

Remember that CA doesn’t do the mobile versions himself; he contracted that out. Now, maybe he could have found a better partner, I dunno.
