Conversion/rehabilitation is preferable if possible. But it will not always be possible. We in the West will have to learn to not hesitate when things get hot.

To be honest, I feel like applying lethal force to every single militant anticommunist might be a little over the line. I was reluctant to state that earlier because I didn’t want my ‘moderate’ attitude to annoy somebody, but whether it’s due to exhaustion or something else, I simply don’t have the same fiery hatred for my enemies that I used to have.

Because they are humans too, not a faceless monster or boogeyman. Further, while everyone can agree that Nazis are bad, not all anti communists are that rabid, and the vast majority can be rehabilitated. They deserve a chance at life too.

They were tricked, lied to, brainwashed, kept ignorant, and so on. That can be fixed. Not in all scenarios, but many.

Also killing people directly or indirectly is extremely traumatizing to the human brain, and causes long term and unavoidable damage. It’s best to avoid that when unnecessary.

Can’t believe someone I used to look up to would be so violent.

Doesn’t he know that he should try voting them out instead? SMH my head. 😔
