From what I’ve gathered from researching is that it’s way too late for any meaning seeding to be done in the last couple weeks, so let it ride if there’s no risk of other contamination.
This late in your flower cycle, they won’t be much of a worry. If they do contain pollen, it’s unlikely to have time for seeds to develop before you chop them down.
The 2 most common causes for hermaphroditic flowers forming are photoperiod stress (light leaks, changes in the light schedule) and genetics.
Actually there is a third option, rodelization. The partial issue, is using the offspring can lead to slightly unstable genetics when compared to other selfing methods like colloidal silver.
This is also true! Letting the plants continue their flowering cycle for far too long past peak ripening will trigger that as well
The other issue is, all 3 points are also related in some way.
Weaker genetics herm easier from stresses, some rodelize sooner easier, in the end it’s all technically a stress mechanism to survive.
