@wordnerds I created this lemmy community as a way to track on going activities/discussions for my friend groups new book club. Wanted to try out interacting with the page from Mastodon.

Gotta educate myself on how to navigate this new federated world.

Welcome to the WordNerds Book Club Community.

This community will serve as an ongoing discussion of chosen book for the club as well as any other book/media related topic members want to discuss.

Once the group finishes the selected book, we will create a new post to collect all suggestions for the next title and then use a random number generator to select the next work.

This community is under ongoing work.

This is also going to partially serve as a practice ground for us to get to grips with federated social media.
