I’ve been lurking on this sub for a while and really like this space where we can talk about men’s issues grounded in academic thinking.

I graduated college recently and realized how poor my support structure was outside of university and really struggling within the intersection of the patriarchy and late stage capitalism. All of the solutions I’ve read here so far have been how to stop the cycle of harmful cultural norms for future generations which I have been applying to my younger relatives. But, I don’t know how to actually help myself. Where do I start? It seems a little overwhelming.

I gotta be honest here, it feels like drowining to watch how all of the awful symptoms of systemic issues I have learned are hitting me hard while I was only taught how to help others, or that solutions are gradual or grounded in policy. So I only know how to create change on a macro instead of micro-level

Thank you for being a wonderful communtiy and any advice is appreciated.
