Every workday I take the bus to the office. For the past 5 years I transfer at the same stop. But every time the driver asks me at its name, my brain struggles to produce.
I have to force myself to remember: there's this landmark, then that one; I know that name, now what is the name of the bus stop? And then: poof, I can answer. It takes 10, maybe 20 seconds, with me stammering and blocking the doorway.
It makes me feel foolish.
What about writing it on a piece of paper or on your phone? So you only (?) have to remember the piece of paper, or where you have it on the phone. Maybe put a piece of paper at the back of your phone case?

Oh dear. That would work. But I’d lose the paper!
