    I partially agree. Happy is happy- kids in the slums living in dirt have happy moments just as significant as a kid getting a new PlayStation, I think I read once that many third world countries report higher happiness index in general.

    However, I can definitely draw a line in the sand and say the joy of holding my children for the first time, or going on a first date or going sky diving were on a different level than getting my favorite meal.

    That said, if you think the pursuit of happiness requires world travel or tons of money, or whatever, that couldn’t be more wrong- we should all take time to treat ourselves, even if just a little every day, especially when things are stressful or uncertain!
