I’m relatively new to audiobooks and I noticed some of the defaults that I’ve fallen into. I like listening at 1.2x speed, and I’m finding that I like to use the audio version to get into the cadence of things. If I really like the work or if I’m in a hurry to get to the end, I’ll switch to reading. How about you guys?

I just listen at 1x speed, but I wish someone would make an ereader that plays audiobooks and syncs the written version with your place in the audiobook so you can switch between them!

Newer kindles and audible can do this, but it’s a little glitchy and expensive, and you have to buy both the audio book and the ebook. There is a discount buying them together, but still a lot.
