I’ve been using “Hit Save Official Community” for posts related to gaming history and/or preservation that don’t fall into any other categories at the moment, but I believe that community is meant for things directly related to Hit Save (per the description). Would it be better to have a separate community (perhaps something like “general game history” or “general game preservation”)?

This is the General Game Preservation and History community. It just so happens to be run and supported by Hit Save and we do on occasion post Hit Save-related news. That is why we used the URL Preserve.Games as we want to foster a community for game history and preservation that is independent and not relying on another company’s platform.

Long story long post your game preservation and game history links.

Of course glad I could help. Open to adding other gaming sections as well that are not preservation related.

I do think it makes sense to have a “general” game preservation community though. Since the Hit Save Official Community was meant to be about “Official news and commentary about projects and initiatives from Hit Save!”. We do have https://preserve.games/c/news, but that’s more around preservation news…

“general game history” or “general game preservation”

          I like this. Thoughts?
