Odysee | foss or proprietary…

Hi everyone! I’m new here, joined yesterday.

I’m not sure if this is the right place for this, but I was curious in wondering if the video platform Odysee is Free Open Source Software (FOSS) or proprietary? I’ve saw a comment a while back in 2021 of a user saying that it takes cookies intensively. (a lot when using the service), and a while ago I found DistroTube’s channel description said > Odysee is a libre Free Open Source Software video site.

I like the Odysee platform and the currency is uses, but was curious if it’s source is public or hidden. Im going to take a guess it’s open due to the fact that since a YouTuber who talks about privacy and FOSS and uses Odysee, it probably is but idk.

Again sorry if this is the wrong server, I just discovered Lemmy from Mental Outlaw‘s YouTube channel, and I wasn’t sure if there was or is an Odysee server.
