          I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. You’re 100% right.

          For people who don’t get it, the point of the joke is that this statistic does not mean anything. The overall number of people getting AIDS might be increasing, just like the number of car drivers. Whether it’s choice or not is irrelevant. I thought that should have been simple enough to understand.

          Yeah no, the fact that now there is a choice is exactly what matters.

            The point is that 5 cases over 15 years is not enough to say “is the pandemic ending?” It’s not that hard to understand, you haven’t even tried.
