Regarding the sanders, it is possible you are driving them a bit too hard. I have their belt sander and it eats batteries like crazy. Something about sanding that just needs lots of energy. So for consumer variants of sanders I’d recommend giving them some rest between sessions to cool down.
Just a finishing sander, so I was keeping the pressure light. The job was a dining room table, but I feel like even a Ryobi should be able to handle a full table!
