nah, look up 40k Tau (keep your safe search on, there’s a lot of weirdos out there) and you’ll see the men have a single vertical slit in the middle of their face, the women have a Y shaped one instead, it’s pretty much the only dimorphism they have afaik. No alien booba unless you go to the aforementioned weirdos and their fan art. I honestly don’t even know if it is for breathing or not. I’ve never read the xenobiology book.
Oh and to explain the meme a little: the ‘4th sphere’ would be an expansion project of the Tau empire to colonize new worlds and expand, I think there’ve been 3 canonically, but the Tau control a very very small volume of space compared to other major factions. Gue’vesa is the Tau word for human, essentially. They have some humans who changed sides and live in the empire, and some even serve as auxilliaries, the Tau being fairly unique in the setting for not just killing aliens at first sight.
