Most tankies are not reasonable, no. A few of them have legitimately put forth effort in engaging in this community, but when faced with the reality of Stalin specifically sending queers to gulags, they broke and reverted to their trollish behaviour, later returning to hexbear about their worries so their fellow tankies can feed them a false narrative about gays in gulags.
They are not reasonable, or else they would’ve already tried engaging here–We have threads dedicated as semi-safespaces for them.
I mean the majority of its users are just lgbtq folks looking for a safe space. I’m not saying tankies don’t exist on there, they most definitely do, but the majority of users I’ve talked to from hexbear are just leftists not tankies. They don’t all share the same opinions about the tankie stuff.

I think tankies are misguided and confused, but most of them are want to make the world better for marginalized people and want better human rights, they just are going about it in a really dumb and shortsighted way. While meanwhile the extreme right wing literally wants people dead.

You don’t know a lot about tankies if you think they’re better than that of Nazis. They still advocate genocide, especially by the Soviet Union and Modern-day China. Throughout this community, there are many examples of such conduct. You should have a look and be mindful of how widespread the hatred is.
Every extremist thinks they’re making the world a better place, neo-nazis, jihadists, virulent racists–They all think if everyone thought like them, the world would be a better place. They do not want to make the world a better place for dissidents or activists against authoritarian regimes, in fact, they regularly call for violence against them.
You should have a look at some posts around here, specifically about violence and genocide (using the search function), and tell me if any of that sways your mind. Tankies are violent people who want to kill anyone not like them.

For sure, pretty much every individual cop I’ve interacted with has been very reasonable. Doesn’t mean the policing system isn’t rotten to the core when it’s protecting the bad cops.
