    Hoping he becomes a stud and helps shore up the interior with Pickens. The glaring question is still who is going to rush the QB, but hopefully with an improved interior that will help out Gipson and the others.

    Chicago media has told me two things so far about Gervon:

    1. Slow getoff in college (hopefully this ends up being overblown)

    2. He has turned heads in a good way so far this offseason

      From what I understand, Gervon’s slow get-off time had to do with his role in the defense. I read that the coaches wanted him to react to the blocking scheme that he saw being used, so he would wait and go from there. I don’t know how much truth there is to that, but the camp notes make it sound like he should be just fine in the NFL
