    Yeah, it’s not plan A. I hate them because they show zero thought or effort. Still, I’d fall back here rather than getting something I don’t think she’d like.

      No seriously Nath. I spoke to my daughter and she assures me all her friends younger sisters love gift cards. Typo, Cotton on, K mart. If she has a device iTunes, Spotify if she doesn’t already have Spotify Premium.

      Nah the girl will love being and to go out and spend it. It’s not really thoughtless, better than a gift the girl won’t even like. She’ll get excited about going out to buy something she actually does.

      If I were a kid I’d love a gift card to get whatever I want rather than a potentially useless thing - and have autonomy! It’s the next best thing to money. I think it’s adults where gift cards start to seem a bit of a lazy option
