When I tap on the box to choose the community the app crashes and makes me go back to the home. I tried reinstalling it from fdroid and aurora store, same issue.

This is a known issue in the latest released version. I’ve fixed it since, and the patch will be in the next release.
In the meantime, you can work around this, by selecting the community before trying to create the post.
