    The stats split here is not that helpful as it can’t really differentiate the different contexts in which Eddie was brought on. So the analysis would have to go deeper to be meaningful about the specific question “Nketiah: Better as starter or supersub?”

    But the very fact that you need to dig so deep in specific areas probably answers the question of “What is Nketiah’s stand out talent?”. And the answer is still “not really sure” or maybe more kindly that he is an all rounder that is a decent team player.

    Eddie works decently hard and has some threat about him but he doesn’t really bring something different to transform a game. He has improved each year but not massively so to the point where his growth curve is undeniable. He is what he is, you still need squad players and if he puts the work in then so be it. If the time comes we can improve and he can find a new spot then great, until then he is serviceable.
