Google is analyzing data from its Maps app to suggest how cities can adjust traffic light timing to cut wait times and emissions. The company says it’s already cutting stops for millions of drivers.
Cars don’t stop in roundabouts. They’re made for cars. Drivers don’t pay enough attention to pedestrians when in motion. They never have.
Traffic lights stop the 2 ton killing machines. Roundabouts do not.
